Moroccan authorities return Saharawi prisoner of conscience Yahia Mohamed Elhafid to Eit Malul prison
The Collective of Saharawi Human Rights Defenders (CODESA) confirmed that Moroccan authorities had returned the Saharawi prisoner of conscience Yahia Mohamed Elhafed to the prison of Eit Malul on Monday, after the decline of his health, which had led him to Hassan II Hospital .
The same source added that Moroccan authorities showed up unannounced with 15 employees from the prison and put him in a car under high security.
The family of the Saharawi prisoner of conscience said that they were prohibited from visiting him in the hospital.
CODESA added that the Saharawi prisoners are in a severe situation because of the hunger strike, and the majority of them are losing consciousness from time to time.
On the other hand, the Saharawi prisoners of Inzigan are still in their hunger strike after more than 44 days, and the Moroccan authorities do not want to respond to their legitimate demands, especially after the rape they faced by the leaders of the prison.
